Back in 2006, the muk founders had a vision to provide highly effective, non-complicated haircare options that cut through spin and hype. Enter muk Haircare’s range of hair care + styling solutions.
Since then, muk has established itself as a household brand and everyone has a favourite ‘can’t live without’ muk product. From the original red tin (Hard muk Styling Mud) to the innovative muk Curl Stick V2.0 with its interchangeable attachments, the portfolio of products has expanded to include all categories within professional hairdressing.
For 16 years in the original packaging, muk has been highly recognisable by its distinct colours, with many customers asking their hairdresser for a replenishment of their must have ‘pink shampoo’ (Deep muk Ultra Soft Shampoo).
So…when it came to updating our look, why mess with a good thing? There is a lot our customers told us they love about muk:
Infinitely recyclable. The muk packaging choice of aluminium has kept product safe for use, as well as being ahead of its time as a recycling hero. As an infinitely recyclable packaging choice, it was a no brainer to stay with aluminium, we’ve just updated it to a brushed finish.
With so many customers recognising their products by colour, we’ve kept the colours but just given them an update. Instead of bright shades we’ve now chosen pastel hues.
The product formulas are tried and true. There is NO CHANGE to our formulas, same muk inside, new look outside.
As hopelessly devoted animal lovers, it’s always been important that our products are not tested on animals. As our formulations are the same, there are definitely no changes here.
We’ve kept what you love and given it an update. muk Haircare retail is now refreshed and redressed…ready to love even more.
